Andy Smith

Andy is the acting Chief Security Architect for the Identity and Passport Service and has been with the Identity and Passport Service and previously the Identity Card programme for the last 4 years.

His background is information security including chip technology and PKI. During the last few years he has been actively involved in secure document design, concentrating on the electronic aspects.

Andy is responsible for ensuring cohesive and comprehensive risk management within the Scheme via the architecture and supporting framework.
