Matthias Niesing

secunet Security Networks AG, Biometrics & eID

Matthias Niesing is working at secunet Security Networks AG, Germany. For several years he has been supporting the German agencies in several projects for the introduction of the German ePassport and the implementation of a biometric based border control process. In his role as head of secunet’s evaluation laboratory for IT conformity he is responsible for tests of biometric software as well as for conformity assessment for ePassports.
