This prestigious event welcomed more than 500 delegates from all over the world (more than 35 countries).
This event was attended by european and world specialists of the field, suppliers and state
organisations representatives responsible for e-passports issuing, technical infrastructure
implementation and preparation of electronic passports border control.
Tests was divided into 3 parts: Conformity test, Crossover test and EAC PKI test (more than 1400 ePassports has been tested)
35 world specialist have spoken at the conference about electronic travel
documents, including the fields of security, data protection, cryptography and interoperability.
Furthermore, the event included the exhibition (total 26 stands) of technical equipment and
services and meetings of the European Commission scientific committees.
The key target of Prague Tests is to allow European countries to verify the conformity of ePassports with fingerprint biometric data protected by extended access control (EAC). Related target is verification of the cross-over interoperability of various EAC inspection systems and ePassports.
In addition to conformity and cross-over interoperability tests will be organized first attempt to verify process interoperability of EAC PKI infrastructure (according to European Certification policy) for national border inspection systems, including official bilateral exchange of EAC certificates.
Non-European Countries issuing BAC ePassports only are obviously welcome to take part in the tests.
Last day will be dedicated to the preliminary presentation of test results and workshop.
Prague Tests will also provide excellent opportunity to exchange expirience between countries and share work practice with outstanding experts.
Information for registered ePassport applicants
Each applicant have to bring to the registration place for each type of ePassport
15 ePassports for conformity testing
6 ePassports for crossover testing
2 ePassports for PKI testing
in case of participation in all 3 types of tests it is needed to have 23 ePassports prepared
Please, bring your passport packed in labeled parcels (see bellow) according to a type of passport and kind of the test.

There is a set of passport certificates which were sent during the pre-registration process. Updated version will be available at the testing room on Monday morning before the crossover test start.
